Assistants for Open Door Meal Service

About the Role

Our Open Door Meals service is targeted at people who are homeless, vulnerably housed or suffer from poverty or social exclusion. On Wednesday from 5-6:30pm a two-course, freshly prepared meal is served by our friendly team at tables in our main hall.

Hours & days required

Wednesdays, 5pm – 6.30pm.

Commitment

As often as possible every Wednesday between 5pm – 6.30pm.

Training

Training will be provided on-site and will be on-going..

Key Qualities or Skills required

The most important skills for a Open Door Meal assistant volunteers are an understanding attitude, empathy, and a commitment to support others.
